The GRI Reporting Framework provides guidance on how organizations can better disclose their social and sustainability performance enhancing better and more reliable communication with all interested parties. TITAN adopted the GRI principles in 2003 on a voluntary basis and participated in the stakeholder consultation process followed for the development of the G3 guidelines and strives to implement them in its reporting activities.
The A+ is the highest level of quality assurance grade allowed for in the Global Reporting Initiative system (GRI, G3, 2006). Grades are given following evaluation of reports and verification of data by the independent company DNV. The TITAN CSR and Sustainable Development Reports for 2007, 2008 and 2009 were awarded an A+.
