One of the dominant issues of our times is Global Warming and Climate Change. Titan as a cement manufacturer is a significant emitter of carbon dioxide and is committed to taking mitigating action to face the challenge of climate change, by setting targets for CO2 emission reductions, and by identifying a set of actions that will reduce our ecological footprint and address sustainability issues as set out in the Titan Group Climate Mitigation Strategy.
“Caring for Climate” is a joint initiative of Global Compact, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), which aims to assist in the development climate change policies.
