For many years now TITAN CEMENT S.A. has been implementing, on its own initiative, corporate governance principles which went beyond the provisions contained in Greek law for listed companies.
At its meeting on 16.12.2010 the Company's Board of Directors decided to officially apply the UK Combined Code on Corporate Governance (hereinafter “the Code”) to the Company, as revised by the UK Financial Reporting Council in June 2010. That Code can be found on the website of the UK Financial Reporting Council (www.frc.org.uk).
