ReGeneration Academy for Digital Acceleration | Data Science Lab 3 – powered by TITAN enhances skills for the future
Data Science Lab 3, another lab in the Science of Data, has been completed by TITAN Group, with the participation of 36 young scientists from STEM university schools throughout Greece.
During the intensive 100-hour training programme, participants acquired a solid and comprehensive foundation in Data Science principles and techniques (Big Data, Machine Learning), coupled with essential knowledge of Business Intelligence. They also developed soft skills, such as problem-solving, teamwork and collaboration, time management, and goal prioritization. Moreover, they were offered the opportunity to visit TITAN's Kamari plant, where they were introduced to an actual industrial site and the technologies applied in the production and operational processes.
Drawing on the completion of Data Science Lab 3, Panagiotis Margaris, Supply Chain Digitization Director & PMO, TITAN Group said: ‘At TITAN, we embarked on the digital transformation journey with gradual steps and a firm resolution to innovate. ReGeneration Academy for Digital Acceleration – powered by TITAN has already completed its fourth cycle with 125 graduates. In each cycle, the Academy's curriculum is enhanced and enriched in line with the needs of the market. This is reflected in the high percentage of graduates, in effect more than 95%, who have already found their place in the market, while some are employed in TITAN's Digital Centre of Competence.
The Academy is the product of the collaboration with ReGeneration and with Code.Hub as the training partner. It is part of the Group's Digital Initiative, under the guidance of the Digital Centre of Competence and the Human Resources Department. It is yet another upskilling program by TITAN which confirms the Group's commitment to support young people in their transition from education to sought-after employment sectors and to contribute towards reversing Greece's brain drain.
