Preventive medicine for children and adults
TITAN undertakes initiatives that promote health and well-being in the local communities where it operates.
Over the last two years, TITAN implemented a series of such activities in the area of Dervenochoria and offered an extensive line of free medical tests for specific population groups, including children, women and people over 65 years of age.
The preventive medicine programme included audiometric, ophthalmological, dental and cardiological examinations for children, mammography screening and nutritional consultation for women, as well as bone density, blood sugar measurement and memory testing for senior citizens.
The health screenings were performed in collaboration with accredited organizations, such as the Hellenic Cancer Society, the Médecins Sans Frontières – Greece, the Smile of the Child with the Mobile Preventive Medicine Unit, the Skeletal Health Association “Petalouda” and the Panhellenic Federation of People with Diabetes.
