Aggregates quarry in Latzimas (Rethimno)
In collaboration with the Hellenic Ornithological Society, we have developed a local action plan aimed at the identification of the key biodiversity elements at the quarry in Latzimas (Rethimno) and the surrounding area within a one-kilometre perimeter.
The plan focuses on determing the appropriate course to ensure the management of the area for the benefit of local biodiversity.
The implementation of the local action plan is currently in progress.
