Update of the rehabilitation studies for the limestone quarry at Kamari and clays quarry at Loutsa-Remeri
Updating the rehabilitation studies for the quarries at Kamari and Loutsa-Remeri was imperative, in order to take into account current trends in biodiversity.
The project was carried out in collaboration with the University of Patras Department of Biology. On the basis of the findings of the study, rehabilitation continues, avoiding species which are alien to the region, instead selecting dominant flora species of the region.
