THE POST GRADUATE STUDENTS FORUM
This year's Post Graduate Students Forum was held at our Kamari plant in Boeotia, on 21st of May. The forum has been held for the past three years, and this year’s event was dedicated to the themes of “ “How the Human, Social, and Financial capital can simultaneously develop in the Business Environment” and MBA and Occupation”. As usual, the topics were chosen by the students themselves.
The Post Graduate Students Forum is a program organized by Titan Cement in cooperation with the academic community in response to the need for a closer contact between the business community and MBA students. It is aimed at providing an opportunity for future managers and entrepreneurs to exchange views with distinguished businessmen and academics. The forum is held at the conference centre of the company plant in Kamari, thus also giving the participants the chance to tour the factory and to see how a heavy industry actually operates. The forum was organized for the first time in 2002 in the framework of the celebration of Titan’s centenary that was dedicated to Corporate Social Responsibility. The third forum, also took place in kamari and was attended by 230 students.
Following the success of the Attica forum, another annual forum has been planned for November 2004 in Thessaloniki, for students studying in Northern Greece.
