This is the Portland cement used mainly in applications of prefabricated and ready-mix concrete, as well as in dry-blended products with hydraulic properties. It is ideal for use in prefabricated elements, prestressed concrete, etc.
Upon setting, the CEM I 42,5 R cement provides high early strength, which makes it ideal for reducing the formwork removal time in prefabricated element applications, such as in subway tunnels, and ready-mix concrete. Its quick reaction time also produces more heat, which can be beneficial in colder conditions.
TITAN's CEM II/B-M (P-LL) 42,5 N is a composite cement that completes the range of Portland cements. It is designed with a lower clinker content in order to reduce the embodied carbon footprint. Its enhanced properties offer high levels of early strength which make it ideal for mass volume concreting and light precast applications.
