More than 11,000 visitors at TITAN’s plant in Nea Efkarpia for “The greatest inventions of the ancient Greeks” exhibition

More than 11,000 visitors were welcomed at TITAN’s plant in Nea Efkarpia of Thessaloniki on the occasion of the travelling exhibition "The greatest inventions of the ancient Greeks" of the Museum of Ancient Greek Technology Kostas Kotsanas that was held between 29 October 2014 and 13 March 2015. In their vast majority, visitors were students -and accompanying teachers- from both public and private schools of primary and secondary education from the broader area of Thessaloniki but also from across the region of Central Macedonia. Individual schools of Lamia, Lefkada and Athens also had the opportunity to visit the operating models of the ancient Greek inventions.

The exhibition was of particular interest to students of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and attracted the residents of Nea Efkarpia and the Municipality of Pavlos Melas as well as those from neighbouring towns.

“Our ambition is to explore more opportunities in the future that will allow us to establish a program of cultural activities at the Nea Efkarpia plant, highlighting its contribution as a living cell of the local society”, stated Michalis Barboutis, TITAN Plant Manager.
