"My next step: ideas and guidelines for career choices" - TITAN’s Forum for Graduate Students

Challenges and prospects for professional advancement in the current environment were the topics discussed at the 12th “Forum for Graduate Students”, an annual event organized by TITAN as a ground for valuable dialogue between graduate students and representatives of the business communities, allowing managers of the future to learn about the conditions in the labor market.

The event was held on November 29, 2013 in Attica Kamari Plant, entitled “My next step: Ideas and guidelines for career choices” with the participation of 210 graduate students from the University of Economics, University of Athens, University of Piraeus and ALBA Graduate Business School.

The students and speakers were welcomed by Dimitris Papalexopoulos, CEO of the TITAN Group and Ioannis Monachos, Manager of the Kamari Plant. The speakers who honoured the event with their presence were as follows: Aris Kefalogiannis (CEO at Gaea Products SA), Rena Bardani (Director, Social Affairs at ‘SEV’- Hellenic Federation of Enterprises), Panagiotis Theodosopoulos (General Manager Cloud Division, Singular Logic), Maria Proveleggiou (Refineries HR & Administration Director, Hellenic Petroleum S.A.), Nikos Voyiatzis (Director of Technology and Cluster Operations, Corallia Clusters Initiative), Nikos Moraitakis (CEO, Workable HR) and Areti Georgili (owner of concept bookstore ‘Free Thinking Zone’, Founding Member and Advisory Board Member at Hellenic Start-up Association).

The Graduate Students’ Forum is a small part of a whole range of educational activities organized by TITAN as part of its policy on Corporate Social Responsibility. It has been implemented twice a year since 2002 at TITAN plants in Kamari and Thessaloniki. More than 3,000 students have attended 20 forums in total until today.
