Conference on Health and Safety in Technical Projects
On Wednesday 2 February 2011 INTERBETON CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS S.A., a subsidiary of the TITAN Group, will be hosting a conference in Ioannina on the subject Health and Safety in Technical Projects.
The TITAN Group has no higher priority than the need to ensure a safe and healthy environment for its workforce and that of its contractors – in all its facilities and worksites, and in all its activities. The Group’s ambition is to secure a working environment where accidents and injuries are unknown. The Group’s policy on health and safety in the workplace is designed to improve standards to the point where the ultimate ‘zero-accidents’ level is reached.
The Concrete Activities Centre of INTERBETON CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS in Ioannina is bringing its own special expertise in the area of technical projects to the conference it is organizing, Health and Safety in Technical Projects, to brief all stakeholders on safe working practices and the prevention of accidents.
The conference is intended to raise awareness of safe working practices among engineers, technical companies, contractors and all agencies involved in constructing technical projects.
Similar events have already been staged in other areas where the Group does business – all of them designed to raise safety awareness among local communities.
