Defensive driving training in Lamia and Volos
Two Defense Driving seminars took place in INTERBETON’s sectors in Lamia (in the Technical Chamber’s halls) and in Volos, at the Volos Palace Hotel and were attended respectively by 15 and 30 employees and associates of the company. Keynote speaker in Volos was N. Bakas and in Lamia, P. Athanassiou, both from Q & S. company.
Following INTERBETON’s invitation, present at the Lamia seminar was also Mr. Branis, from the local service of the National Highway Traffic, who congratulated the company on this important initiative in an area with a very high rate of road accidents. He also stressed that all efforts aiming at promoting safe driving and preventing road accidents always have the support of his service. The great interest of the audience of the Seminar led to a constructive dialogue with the keynote speaker. Finally, footage of the event was broadcasted by STAR T.V. station of Central Greece, including interviews of K. Costarelos, Head of INTERBETON’s Activity Center in Lamia and L. Petrounakis, security technician of the company who talked about the road safety initiative and its goals.
Next stops of the Defense Driving Training Program will be Pyrgos, Ilia and Kos in Western Greece and the Dodecanese
