Defensive driving training in Rhodes

Committed to social working and promoting the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility, in the context of its activations for Health and Safety in the workplace, TITAN launched the Defensive Driving Training Program for all the professional drivers of the company, employees and outsourced staff.

The training program that started on September 16, in the Rhodes unit of INTERBETON, was held at the Olympic Palace Hotel with the participation of 30 employees and outsourced associates. Keynote speaker was N. Bakas of Q&S company while present were also INTERBETON’s security technician and the Deputy Commander of the Rhodes Traffic Police G. Stergou who congratulated the company on its important initiative in the field of Road Safety -a very sensitive issue in Greece- and stressed that any efforts aimed at promoting safe driving and preventing road accidents will always have the support of his service.

In his short speech, Stergou referred to the main causes of road accidents, emphasizing on the special conditions in Rhodes which is a typical tourist destination. The great interest of the audience led to a constructive dialogue with the keynote speaker. The Defense Driving Training Program will tour around Greece, in places where INTERBETON is active, with the next stops being Lamia and Volos.
