A FACELIFT FOR PANKRATIOU SQUARE
As part of its preparations for the Olympic Games the Athens City Council launched a programme to clean up the facades of dozens of buildings in central Athens. TITAN Cement S.A. sponsored one of the schemes involved – a facelift for all the buildings surrounding Pankratiou Square. In grateful recognition of the Company’s support, the City Council proposed to set up a sculpture in the square bearing the TITAN logo.
