Initiative for digital skills in collaboration with ReGeneration
TITAN collaborates with ReGeneration to introduce a new initiative for the enhancement of skills and employability in data science
ReGeneration Academy for Digital Acceleration | Data Science Lab - Powered by TITAN is here!
TITAN, in collaboration with ReGeneration, launches an innovative ‘’academy’’ for young people with an interest in data science. ReGeneration Academy for Digital- Acceleration| Data Science Lab - Powered by TITAN aims at enhancing the specialized skills of young scientists that would make them competitive in the job market and ready to claim positions in the field of data science. This initiative is in line with the systematic effort to precipitate the shift to the digital era, for which TITAN implements an integrated digital transformation plan (Industry 4.0).
ReGeneration Academy for Digital Acceleration | Data Science Lab - Powered by TITAN invites young professionals up to 29 years old, Graduates of Greek or foreign colleges of higher education, with up to three years of work experience and active participation in extracurricular activities, to apply and to expand their opportunities in Greece.
The programme’s training partner is Code.Hub. It will cover 100 hours of hands-on training on basic and advanced principles of data science, over the course of 6 weeks. It includes two special training & coding all-day events, one of which will take place at TITAN’s cement plant in Kamari. Some of the programme’s main topics are Software Engineering, Relational Databases, Python Business Intelligence, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Visualization, and Big Data Technologies & Systems.

Regarding our actions for young people: Supporting young people in their transition from education to employment is a top priority for TITAN. Under the TITAN Youth Matters initiative, the Company has developed a constructive collaboration with the academic and scientific community, as well as with expert organisations, which includes Protocols of Collaboration with universities and polytechnic schools; educational and training programs through internships; career days and other similar events; visits to universities; educational programs on TITAN’s premises; collaboration with student initiatives etc.
These initiatives are undertaken within the framework of the European Pact for Youth, a mutual commitment of institutions and businesses to establish synergies for quality in education and training, with a view to increasing the inclusive employability of young people. TITAN Group was among the first companies to sign the Pact.
