Grey Cement CEM IV/B (P) 32.5 R

TITAN pozzolanic cement CEM IV/B (P) 32.5 R is an advanced solution for concrete applications that demand both sustainability and high technical performance. With reduced clinker content in its composition, it makes a meaningful contribution to lowering the carbon footprint of construction projects.

Thanks to the action of pozzolan, TITAN CEM IV/B (P) 32.5 R supports the production of concrete with a denser microstructure, lower porosity, and enhanced long-term durability. The result is stronger protection of reinforcement against corrosion and improved structural performance over time—delivering significant added value for demanding infrastructure and building projects.

Its high suitability for concrete in coastal environments, combined with low heat of hydration, makes it a strategic choice for large-scale and technically demanding constructions. In this way, it helps reduce the risk of cracking, extends service life, and enhances both the overall reliability and environmental performance of the project.

  1. Product Applications

For the production of durable concrete with pozzolanic cement CEM IV/B, the cement content of the mix should comply with EN 206 and the Greek Concrete Technology Regulation 2016. These standards provide guidance on the use of cement in concrete across different exposure classes and demanding environmental conditions, according to the intended service life of the structure.

All standard concrete admixtures, such as plasticizers, air-entraining agents, and retarders, can be used with CEM IV cement.

  2. Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), Declaration of Performance and CE Marking

Our cements comply with the harmonized European standard EN 197-1 and are subject to third-party certification procedures by an EU notified body, in accordance with System 1+ for the Assessment and Verification of Constancy of Performance (AVCP).

TITAN has published Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for its cement products through an independent certified body, reinforcing its commitment to transparency and sustainable construction.

The Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), the Declaration of Performance for the product’s essential characteristics, and the CE Marking are available for reference. CE Marking is placed on the packaging and/or the delivery documents, as required by the Construction Products Regulation.

  3. Health and Safety

Contact with wet cement, wet concrete, or mortar may cause irritation, dermatitis, or severe alkali burns. Contact between cement dust and bodily fluids, such as sweat or eye moisture, may also cause irritation, dermatitis, or burns. There is also a serious risk of eye damage. For this reason, the use of suitable waterproof protective clothing, gloves, and eye and face protection is strongly recommended. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice. After skin contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water. The product should also be kept out of the reach of children. Contains Chromium (VI), which may cause an allergic reaction. The risk increases if the cement is used beyond the declared storage period indicated in the delivery documents.
