Sustainability of local communities

Kindergartens in Lagina (Municipality of Langadas) – Building the future!

In the Municipal District of Lagina (Municipality of Langadas, Thessaloniki), two new model kindergartens with two teachers each and with 80 children have been operating since the beginning of the 2007-2008 school year.

We substantially contributed to their creation –responding to a request from the Municipality and residents of the area– with a donation that covered 50% of construction costs. The donation was made in memory of Pavlos Canellopoulos.

The two kindergartens were inaugurated on 19 October 2007 by Prefect of Thessaloniki P. Psomiadis, in the presence of –among others– Mayor of Langadas I. Karagiannis, Deputy Mayor G. Gerakis, TITAN’s External Relations Director N. Canellopoulos and V. Mavridis, Manager of our Nea Efkarpia plant.
