“Let’s Do It Greece” – For a cleaner Greece!
Now that our country is at the heart of the world’s tourist destinations thanks to its coasts and sunny weather, it is very important to once again underline the enormous value of keeping the environment clean.
Obviously, environmental cleanliness is not only related to our tourism promotion but also –and primarily– to the need to respect and protect the environment, so that we can live in the right conditions but also safeguard our country’s flora and fauna which are threatened by human “contamination”.
With this in mind, we firmly support the world’s largest voluntary cleanup campaign “Let’s Do It World”, participating in the relevant nationwide campaign “Let’s Do It Greece – We clean up Greece in one day” with volunteering employees and logistics support in Elefsina, Patra and Thessaloniki.
Since 2011 –when the institution was introduced– we have been standing right next to organizers and volunteers and –as National Sponsors of the initiative– we have supported the development of an online platform that brings together volunteers from across Greece and promotes the actions of volunteer teams, schools, associations and institutions (http://letsdoitgreece.org).
